We had a really excellent interaction and first experience with Dr. Christie Bobson. I was shocked when I got our referral and the first-available appointment was more than four months out, but now I understand why.
Dr. Bobson spent more than an hour with myself and my child as we went through our first appointment and interaction in the ADHD evaluation process. She listened to all of my details, concerns, and examples. She took the time to engage with my daughter, including asking her about the artwork she was doing while the adults chatted, let her listen to her stethoscope, and took the time to talk to her and ask her questions as an individual. Her testing assistant (forgetting name) was kind and patient and had a smile on her face which put my kiddo at ease.
I felt like my concerns were taken seriously, not at all chalked up to another kid needing meds/parent wanting meds, and she explained all the details of her assessment clearly and laid out her approach, which I thought was conservative and thoughtful. I was throughly impressed and would recommend Dr. Bobson to anyone looking to venture down this road.

I've waited over six months for my son to be seen, but three days prior to his appointment, I was contacted by a receptionist who stated that we would have to reschedule due to a personal problem that the provider, Kari Mohrien, had. I highly do not recommend this office, as they also weren’t able to accommodate me
Female receptionist with the locs or braids(1st computer on left) is consistently rude. Her facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice are terrible. Parents at this particular specialty are already stressed or overstimulated and that attitude and representation is as the first encounter is not a good look for this office. Brandon, I believe is his name is however is always pleasant, patient and very helpful.
Dr Babson and her NP always seemed so rushed. Had 3 visits there and left. Got no where in a year and a half with this place. I felt like I was running the appointments not the provider. Always had to ask for toys or something to keep my little one busy and front staff seem miserable. Atrium dev ped has been great!
My son just started his physical therapy here. His therapist Megan is kind and knowledgeable. That's where the professionalism of this company ends. Firstly, mistake or not, the nurse confirmed with me that my son's make-up appt was at 11:30am. I get there and it's apparently 3pm. I can understand people make mistakes. Maybe the mistake was on my end. Regardless, the front desk staff and check in nurses are horrible, especially the very short overweight woman. If you come to your appointment ten minutes early they tell you to wait in your car until the appt time is closer. When you come to your appointment about two minutes early they have you standing outside, in the heat, with your child until a nurse decides to acknowledge you. No matter what time I show up here my son's appointment is always cut by five to ten minutes because, of course, they end your appt on time. You also have a very hard time to even get through when you call. Based on the incompetence of the staff up front, I will be discharging my son after only three appointments. Atrium is a way better choice for basically any healthcare needs.
