Quick and speedy service. Kim B, Ari B and Gaby L made my visit extra special. They handled me with such professionalism and amazing bed side manner that it made my visit for a broken arm less agonizing.

Omg!!! This place is a no. I delivered my baby here and all I can say is the experience should have been way better. Where do I start….. I went in for pain and they wanted to look at me in triage but the nurse was beyond rude, my mom, sister and daughter just looked like Wow. Fast forward…. The day I was admitted… I went in around 8am because fluid was leaking and I had bleeding. They looked at me and sent me home saying it was not amniotic fluid. As I was getting out of the hospital bed more fluid came out and they said “oh it’s just the gel because of your body temperature “… smh. I knew that was not true but I was so tired of going back and forth so I left. My mom am I walked the mall for a while and ended up calling back in because I had been in pain and leaking all day. I was told to go back in, and when I did, the checked and said I dilated more and I was leaking fluid and the kept me. The doctor asked when it started and I said, it started when I came in this morning and she said no, it had to have started after 2p. They ended up notating that my fluid started leaking that afternoon..FALSE. Next, epidural time, the guy was very insensitive and rude. I’m in so much pain and trying my best to get through it and he said “look, do you want to do this or not” as if he was mad or in a rush. He stuck me twice and guess what?!?! The epidural didn’t work, I still felt everything. They call another one in to give me something else and that medicine they put in didn’t work either. The guy and the nurse apologized and said that what was happening doesn’t usually happen. Then when it was time to give birth I kept saying I need to push they kept saying don’t push and telling me all this bad stuff that can happen if I push too soon. All in all, I ended up sayin I’m about to push, when I opened my legs my sister said the baby is coming out…. At that moment, it got their attention and baby was out in 2 minutes. After having her I was in terrible pain that night. I felt like I had the flu. The nurse swabbed me 4 times because she kept doing something wrong or she sent the wrong thing to lab or she mixed them up… smh. The nurse didn’t check on me much, when I called for something for the baby it took them hours to come in, I ended up calling twice before they actually came in. I heard the nurse outside of my door laughing and talking all while I’m waiting for assistance. Fast forward….. when I looked at MyChart they notated the total time for my water breaking which was incorrect, they also said that everything went well with the epidural which was also incorrect. I called about it and was told to send in something to have it corrected and after taking time out of my day to care for my new baby just to fill out all of this info about what happened, they sent something back saying they are not changing anything because what they have is correct and if I feel that that is wrong I can write something and send it in. Why!!?!? Why do I need to do all of that? I know and they know what really happened and my videos know what really happened. I’m over it. I’m over Novant and Doctors in general.

Security is HORRIBLE! Needed an escort, after waiting 15 mins I had a staff help me up to the floor I needed to go to. Then I got in the elevator and was stuck! Emergency call button apparently dosen't work because I never received a response nor did the light come on. I was ringing the bell, still nothing. Finally a Dr. on the 3rd floor sent for the elevator and that's how I was able to finally move and get out. This hospital needs REAL SECURITY! I know plenty of people that needs a job and will work as one.

My hubby had outpatient surgery by the Endo department yesterday. First, the hospital is beautiful and clean. The front desk registered us and we were in registration within 5 minutes. That entire process was flawless. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. We were taken to the Endo suite and the kindest nurse Kathleen was waiting for us and she had the most positive personality. She brought my hubby back to get him ready and then brought me to his room. It was so nice that I was able to stay in that room while he was having his procedure. We also meet a bunch of other nurses today and they were so kind to us. Dr. Thedki explained everything before and after the procedure. Kathleen, RN went over all the discharge instructions in full detail. I really felt like we had the royal treatment there today. We will definately choose this hospital for more outpatient procedures. Thank you for the remarkable care!!

I went in for an outpatient surgery yesterday, February 19, 2026, and while the overall service was good, the recovery portion left a slightly foul taste in my mouth. My nurse Mae was kind, but gave me a sense of rushed service. Very much so hurry and get out. I was being rushed to attempt to use the potty, to her defense, we had been trying for a little over an hour, but those of us who have had any sort of anesthesia, understand that the system is sleeping. There was really no time for me to effectively wake up, walk the unit, and go to the bathroom in the short window in which I was pushed to hit. When I was being given my after care instructions that were being rattled off as if to check a box, Mae indicated “oh you won’t remember this anyway”. As she proceeded to continue to rush me, she made the decision to send me home with a catheter because again, I didn’t hit the timing in which I should potty. Because I felt like I was being rushed out, I did ask if they had a specific time in which patients were to be out according to hospital rules because I felt like I was being rushed out the door. The reason given was “oh I don’t want the doctor yelling at me because I had you sitting waiting on the toilet.” Additionally, as she was giving instructions on how to empty the catheter, I asked how I was supposed to take it out. Mae indicated that the directions she attempted to print did not print, but she would send them to mychart (which she didn’t do), and then proceeded to say I mean you can just Google them. There was also my intake nurse Evanna (Van), who was cool but a bit abrasive in her delivery at times. I have had phenomenal nurses in the past, taking nothing away from these two ladies and the essential and VALUABLE roles they have, however, I think there is a training opportunity here. Additionally, if the doctors and/or hospital are putting pressure on the nursing staff to get people out of there, WE CAN TELL! This was not the best experience and I doubt I’d return to this hospital if I have the choice.
