Melissa was very helpful and quick adjusting a pair of designer sunglasses that had gotten very warped. I was turned away from other optical stores so she saved the day. Thank you!

Fantastic experience today with Marissa! Brought my broken sunglasses in today and they were fixed and back to new in 30 minutes. Highly recommend this location!

Had an eye exam with Dr. Vincent today, which was very high-tech loved it. Then went next-door and was helped by Marisa and bought a great pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses A+ for the LensCrafters experience today.

Honestly, there’s maybe about one employee/sales person in this establishment that makes it worth it. I believe his name is Gary. He was thorough, attentive and very friendly. The other three, salespeople, not so much. I’ve been to this location on several occasions, and have experienced the same treatment and ‘othering’ from the employees there who either huffed as I was looking at frames, as if I was a disturbance, or refused to ask if I needed help when making eye contact. During one of my most recent visits, I needed help and the two saleswomen at the front refused to help, basically telling me that the person I’d initially talked to would reach back out, making me wait days for an answer, despite there being a record of my purchase and the frames being ready for me. I understand that perhaps I wasn’t wearing blatantly branded items that may have incentivized them to help me had they seen, but a job is a job, and part of their role is to make the environment friendly and welcoming and they fall horrendously short on that end. I wasn’t even given the opportunity to purchase anything on my last visit from the lack of acknowledgement and service, and honestly won’t be returning.

My husband and I travel to the Lenscrafters at Southpark Mall in Charlotte all the way from WV just to do business with Caroline. She has always given us the best customer care (for years). She is such a pleasure to see - -professional, respectful, and patient with us each time. I won't go anywhere else as long as Caroline is there. Customer satisfaction matters to me!!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
