  Katlyn at the Rea Road location helped me tremendously in my ordering prescription sunglasses. She was very knowledgeable and understood what I wanted so was able to offer frames best for me. I am grateful for Target Optical also because they saved me money!!

  I needed a new optometrist because my insurance changed and chose to go to this location and wasn’t disappointed! Dr. Bowen is amazing! She is SO kind, friendly and very thorough. She doesn’t rush through the process and explains everything very well. I felt like she really invested her time with me and made the most out of my appointment. She spent extra time with me to get my contact prescription and fitting just right. The front desk was very efficient; I think her name is Mary but I’m not completely sure—I’m sorry! She did the pre testing before my eye exam and did a great job! She was also very sweet and made the process smooth. So one thing to note is that the optometry side has different hours than the optical retail side. I came yesterday to get my trial contacts and the eye exam door was locked and lights off. I went to pick up my trial contacts and was disappointed but didn’t actually go inside the building. I went back the next day because on the website it said they closed at 5pm and it was the same thing. I went inside the building this time and went to the optical retail side and the sweet girl working was able to get into the exam side and get my trials for me! I should have just gone in yesterday, instead of making two trips, but that’s okay! Other than that, I have zero complaints!

  If I could leave negative stars I would. I have made an attempt twice to pick up my new glasses that I desperately need. The first time I was told no licensed optician was on the premises for them to legally dispense my glasses in which a phone call could have prevented a wasted trip. I was told there would be one there Monday, so I made arrangements to leave work early to get there by the closing time of 7pm stated on the website. I get there at 630 pm only to be told “sorry he clocked out at 6pm and left.” This is absolutely unacceptable. I now have to wait another 3 days before I can get them. This isn’t just an item I ordered, this is for my vision. I am not happy and it takes a lot for me to be upset enough to leave a poor review. I will never use them again.
