  Dr rushed through exam and was very dismissive about my concerns about recent vision changes. Told doc that progressive lenses didn't work for me and that I need lined bi- or tri-focal lenses. He pushed progressives again. Gave me contact lens samples that EXPIRED MORE THAN A YEAR AGO! AND made my vision considerably worse. I do not recommend & will not be returning.

  TOTAL RIP OFF: Before getting my eyes checked, I showed them my Vision insurance card, which they did not say clearly they didn't accept. However, I was received a payment of $139 after my eyes were checked. "What?" I was surprised! The Doctor heard my voice and said to the charging person, "$89." I paid $89 and thought they would submit the paperwork for me and the insurance company would pay me back since I am new to the state and don't know the process. After a couple of months passed, I still had not received reimbursement and called Accuvision, only to be told, "We don't accept that insurance." (This was Manhattan Life, not some fly-by-night insurer) I would NEVER use this company again.

  Written by Chandy Pointer - LOST MY CHART - EXTREMELY UNORGANIZED - TERRIBLE - WILL NEVER RECOMMEND. I saw a Dr. HIRAL PATEL . He ordered a pair of trial contacts to ensure I liked the prescription. After 2.5 months I got a call that they are available for pick up. I arrive at target and they could not find them. I was told they were lost in the mountain of trials ordered. a week later i called back and tried to order the trial pair and was told they would call me back. This went on for another three weeks. A representative finally confessed that they lost my chart. HOW DO YOU LOOSE A PATIENTS CHART? Here we are week FOUR and still no contacts. Not only that, I asked to speak with a manger and I was given the manager Christen Nicholas's "email" and was told she will email me to schedule a time to have a phone conversation to discuss how i will be compensated for the inconvenience. I will be filling a complaint with he NC board of Optometry.

  Dr Pawlish was very nice, as was the assistant. Equally as important, they were on time.
