- YYYaping YangFeb 2, 20221.0TOTAL RIP OFF: Before getting my eyes checked, I showed them my Vision insurance card, which they did not say clearly they didn't accept. However, I was received a payment of $139 after my eyes were checked. "What?" I was surprised! The Doctor heard my voice and said to the charging person, "$89." I paid $89 and thought they would submit the paperwork for me and the insurance company would pay me back since I am new to the state and don't know the process. After a couple of months passed, I still had not received reimbursement and called Accuvision, only to be told, "We don't accept that insurance." (This was Manhattan Life, not some fly-by-night insurer) I would NEVER use this company again.
