Dr.Boswell is a great doctor, her and her staff are pleasant and timely with all appointments. She is very thorough in explaining treatment plans and options, which I appreciate!

Money hungry waste of time!
Went here for a skin cancer screening over some concerning moles. Waved a flashlight over my skin for maybe 60 seconds. Said no cancer. Injected a mole with something that cause it to ooze and spit puss for 2 weeks. Came back for a follow up - wanted another 65$ copay to tell me it's fine. Despicable, and watch out bc if they think ur poor, They'll treat u like it too. Very pretentious place of business. Would not recommend.

I went to see Dr. Boswell...I expected good things because she came highly recommended. I get there...pay my 50.00 co pay, fill out the EMR, sit for 30 minutes til I was called. The cute med assistant took me to the back. Asked more questions, took pictures of my problem areas, and asked me to get undressed in case the doctor wanted to look at the rest of my body. She came in, seemed pleasant enough...looked at my legs , said it was eczema and told me what she was prescribing. I proceeded to try to ask some related follow questions and she quickly cut me off stating I only do one problem per visit. As a black woman( like her) who is also a health care provider , while I get that sometimes patients can go down the rabbit hole ...she literally gave me five minutes for me waiting almost a total of 45 minutes to see her and getting my co pay. We are always dismissed by health care providers who don't look like us. I was sad to see this happen with another black woman. I am sure she is busy and I get that...but yall really expect us to make an appointment for each separate problem? It took me weeks to get that appt , and this was after the 1st appt was canceled due to the snow storm.

Scheduled an appointment finally after suffering for years with some scalp/face skin issues. Finally gain the courage to call doctor and book appointments...
Was really excited to get seen and was surprised to get an appointment for 24 hrs from when i called.
Gave my information and asked some questions, let her know what health insurance I had and made sure they accepted it. Had no issues looked good to go and even filled my online paperwork all the way out.
Drove an hour to get here and was 40 minutes early. Try to check in and hand over my ID and insurance, just to get told to leave because they accept bluecross insurance just not the plan I had.
I made sure before driving an hour and filling out paperwork that my insurance was usable at this location....
Just to get shot down and told to leave when I need medical help is just gross.
My only other option was to spontaneously pay 400$ out of pocket instead of using the insurance I had that they said they would take yesterday.
I would not recommend wasting your time with the mixed messages, lies and deceit that I had to deal with today.
Now i get to drive an hour back home, try make a new appointment else where, and suffer for longer. Thank you Atlantic Dermatology!

Had a biopsy that came back negative but ended up getting an infection from the site. Their office is completely closed on the weekend and they have no after hours line. Had to go to ER to be treated, the Dr mentioned my after care instructions where not good and an infection waiting to happen. This was all for nothing.
