  My children received treatment from Dr. Ruvo (OMSA office/ Chapel Hill) for maxillofacial surgery in association w/ their orthodontic treatment. Dr. Ruvo coordinated care well w/ their orthodontist, and he did an awesome job w/ their surgeries. He was extremely attentive and communicative throughout the time of treatment, very friendly, and was very available for questions or concerns during the pre-op and post-op time. Dr. Ruvo provided excellent care and I highly recommend him. Everyone at the OMSA office in Chapel Hill was friendly and attentive.

  I want to give a shoutout to Dr. Serlo at OMSA. Dr. Serlo performed dental bone graft, dental implant, and tooth extraction for me. I am thoroughly impressed with Dr. Serlo's surgical skills. He made the whole process easy and painless (only local anesthesia was used). After each procedure, I took one painkiller pill (before the anesthsia wore off), and then the discomfort was so mininal that I didn't need any more painkillers. The normal swollenness was almost unnoticeable either. My out-of-town college student son needs to take out his wisdon teeth, and I strongly recommend that he comes back home to get this procedure done by Dr. Serlo. And glad he took my advice, so this mama knows he'll be well taken care of!

  This practice has to be the best in this area! I’ve had procedures done by Dr. Ruvo at all three locations including extractions and implants with one visit under emergency conditions on a weekend! Dr. Ruvo’s diagnostic ability has been outstanding and the staff at each location are extremely knowledgeable and so supportive. I am now scheduled to have another extraction next week, and after my pre-surgery screening today I am completely confident that the results will be great! I am so grateful to have this level of expertise and patient care in our area.
