In town for business, the nose piece on the Oakley glasses I purchased at an out-of-state LensCrafters came loose. I stopped by, and Steve was very friendly and helpful, as was the rest of the staff. Great work!

The service I received from Rachel was top-notch; she took her time to explain everything in detail and provide me with multiple quotes for various scenarios without rushing me to make a decision & purchase. I will definitely be returning.

I’m always satisfied with the associates and one person in particular is Dana from the Cary Walnut Street location. The frames are high quality and there’s always several choices to make.

I recently visited LensCrafters and, unfortunately, had an unpleasant experience. After being in the store for only a few minutes, I approached the front desk to ask for Parker, someone I know. The manager, Jackie, responded by saying, “Oh, I thought you were here to fix something.” As a Hispanic customer, this comment made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. It was disappointing to have an interaction that left me feeling unwelcome, especially before I even had the chance to explain the reason for my visit. On a positive note, Parker was wonderful. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very kind throughout my visit. I truly appreciated her assistance. However, the comment made by the manager overshadowed what could have been a pleasant experience.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
