- ALAri Luttrell3 days ago2.0I’ve been going here for a while and I felt it was a pretty decent little gym. But the past few months, I’ve felt it’s declining. Some important aspects of a few pieces of equipment are either breaking down or not there at all. The emergency strings on the treadmills don’t have clips to clip to yourself. There’s a bolt lose on the equipment that locks them into place that slip out frequently and could genuinely end up hurting someone. They don’t have showers & they charge kind of crazy amounts for the lack of room and functional equipment they have. Even their waters are almost $2. But what really threw me off was tonight when I saw this plastered on the wall. Can we not be shoving the skinny narrative down peoples throats? We all gym for different reasons (to lose weight, to gain weight, for agility). We don’t need to be comparing ourselves to each other when we go to the gym!(:

I love that I have access to the gym in the very very early hours of the morning on the weekends, since I’m on a nightshift schedule. They have all of the essentials that you need for any kind of workout. The memberships are open ended, so it’s super convenient. They even had the cutest little pup running around one of the days I stayed up until business hours before gyming. They have a wide selection of healthy snacks and drinks. I’d say the only two things that are really drawbacks for me is how pricey the memberships and snacks are, and also that they don’t have showers. But overall, it’s a good vibe and the small amount of staff interaction I’ve had has been super delightful.
