I want to share my experience at OneLife Fitness, as it was pretty frustrating. This morning I attended a kickboxing class a friend invited me to. Even though the gym is about 35 minutes from my house, I decided to go and really enjoyed the class.
However, at the front desk they take your ID and don’t automatically return it. Since I’m not used to that system, I left without realizing I didn’t have it. I had to drive all the way back just to get my ID, wasting time and gas unnecessarily.
They should change that process, like LifeTime, which does it much better.
A solid gym for all types of exercise. I primarily go for weights, though I’ve taken a couple of yoga classes that were enjoyable. Things do get busy during the evening, you may need to wait or work in with someone if you have a particular machine in mind. I never have trouble getting one of the squat racks. Tons of cardio equipment upstairs. Wanted to leave a review today as I had one of the wrist/ankle attachments break on me while using it, I brought it to the attention of the manager (think his name was Chris). I let him know that it’s usually a struggle to locate one of them and then this one broke today. He immediately placed an order for more, I greatly appreciated that.

I really like this gym. I joined as a founding member so I got a good family rate. It's spacious and has a lot of good equipment. Sometimes, during peak hours, it feels a little frustratingly crowded, but that's most gyms and it doesn't really affect my workout, overall. The staff have all seemed very friendly. Charnelle, the Assist. GM, was really helpful in sorting out a minor issue for me. I am so far very happy with this gym.
Onelife is great and I have especially enjoyed working with Myles Fiatsi. Working with Myles has been a great experience. I came in with very little recent gym experience and some shoulder pain, and he made the whole process approachable and safe. He focused on proper form, adjusted exercises when needed, and helped me build real confidence using gym equipment.
On top of that, he’s just great to work with. He is always friendly, always engaged, and consistently motivating. You can tell he really cares about his clients.
Since starting, I’ve dropped from 21% to 16% body fat, and I feel amazing. I would absolutely recommend Myles to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and supportive trainer.
My wife and I locked into our OneLife family membership immediately upon moving to the area and we have been extremely impressed. They have every machine you can think of, a kids zone for our toddler while we workout, and an excellent training staff. Full disclosure, I’m an overweight guy just over 300 pounds and wanted/needed to sign up with personal training to try something new. I met with Derek so he could understand my wants and needs and he paired me with the right and best trainer for me - Pablo Santos. I can’t say enough good things about working with Pablo. He caters workouts to me, is patient with me and help me explain machines I’ve never attempted before. He’s already given me a ton of confidence and helps write workouts for the days we aren’t together so I can stay on track. Most important - which is a shocker for me - he made going to the gym enjoyable. Can’t wait to continue working out here with him. And not to mention, OneLife offer dozens of classes on various workout topics - cycling, boxing, aerobics, weights, etc. Thanks to the entire staff, too! This is a fantastic gym to join if you’re in the triangle area. 1000% recommend, and seriously look into their personal training if you’re on the fence. Do it.
