- LLLuther6 days ago5.0For more years than I should have, I periodically suffered with a toe nail issue on my large toe. Got pedicures regularly and while it would alleviate the pain, it was only temporary. So, it would be a couple of weeks of relief and then back again. Finally bit the bullet and went to Piedmont Foot & Ankle where I was seen and treated by Dr. Kelly. He removed a piece of nail that was almost the same size as my toenail! He also applied an acid that killed the root area where the problem nail originated from. Literally no follow-on pain. What a relief to be able to walk around without pain and know that the issue is permanently resolved. These are the folks to see if you are dealing with toenail issues.

I can see now why he has so many good reviews. I came In this morning In pain with half a big toe nail on one foot and an Ingrown on the other foot. I had already been back and forth with my primary care office about the referrel for my appointment and everything was supposed to be handled, but when I got there I found out they never sent It. I went outside embarrassed, calling and trying to fix the issue In tears. The receptionist came and got me and told me not to worry about anything and that they won't let me leave today In pain. Eventually the referrel did go through, thank goodness! My anxiety was through the roof but Dr. Kelly and all the staff had me talking and laughing by the end of my visit like I never had an Issue with my feet at all. ❤️

I took my kids to him for different issues, one had a small surgery (if I name that procedure correctly). It went great and Dr Kelly was able to make my son feel less anxious about the process. So glad I found such an amazing doctor, our family will be seeing him for any feet-related issues from now on.
