When I first entered the gym I was greeted by Juan who was very kind to me and every patron entering the gym. Even if they ignored him. He then directed me to someone who could help me start my membership. Malik at the OneLife Fitness Apex location was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the gym and everything it offers. Even while helping multiple people at once, he took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and never made me feel rushed. He was very professional, helpful, and genuinely pleasant to talk to. I also appreciated that he wasn’t pushy at all when recommending new things around the gym, just informative and supportive. Overall, a great experience thanks to Malik. Highly recommend! I look forward to coming here in the future, especially if the other employees are anything like him and Juan F.! :)

Thanks to Charnelle, my experience with OneLife has been amazing so far, and one that I’m recommending to all of my friends, and really all gym-goers in my life! Aside from amazing facilities and great value for money, the staff, especially Charnelle makes this gym incredible. She helped me sign up for my membership during the grand opening, and really took a lot of time and care to explain there contract and policies. This was reassuring for me because I will be moving in March and really just needed a great gym for the next two months, she reassured me that with proof of moving I will not be charged any cancellation fees. It’s great to be apart of an honest gym, with very honest and thoughtful employees. 100% recommend !

John and I absolutely love working with Kailey and can’t say enough good things about her as a personal trainer. She is incredibly knowledgeable and always customizes our workouts based on what’s going on with our bodies at the time, like making adjustments when John was dealing with elbow issues. Every session feels thoughtful and intentional, never generic. Kailey is also super personable and fun, which makes workouts fly by. She pushes you in a realistic, supportive way and is always checking in to make sure you’re feeling good and moving safely. One of the things that really stands out is how much she genuinely cares. You can mention something going on in your life and she remembers it and follows up the next time. That level of attention makes such a difference and keeps you motivated. I was especially nervous about going to the gym and lifting weights because it always felt like a “man thing.” Kailey completely changed that for me. She’s helped me build confidence, strength, and a love for weight training that I never expected. She also does a great job of pointing out how much I’ve grown, which is incredibly motivating. On top of all of that, the gym we train at is beautiful, clean, and welcoming. It never feels intimidating, which made getting started so much easier. Highly recommend!!

OneLife is a fantastic gym with tons fun amenities and different types of workouts. The water classes are really fun and a great workout. I decided to try out a personal trainer as I'm in my 40s and my body doesn't work the same way anymore. I met Johnnie Strickland. and knew he was the right choice! He really takes the time to listen to what I say about how my body feels, what my goals are and adjusts the workout to be best for ME. Not just by an age, or a goal. He is focused on doing movement correctly, not just how many reps I can do. It has been really fun to be challenged and know I'm making my body stronger. I highly recommend Johnnie and OneLife!

I have mixed feelings about this gym. I’ve been a member since it opened a couple weeks ago. If you’re looking for a descent affordable gym, it’s a good option. I do think there are things they can do better. I’ll explain. Here’s what I like: - nice pool and sauna. Finally a pool in apex at a gym. - I love the green turf area. Way nice for box jumps and sledding, it will not destroy your knees since it’s very padded. - the price and location is great - some of the weight lifting machines are new and very innovative. - the staff are very nice. - the lockers in the entrance to the lifting area is a great idea because I can avoid having to go into the locker room when I just need to lock up my stuff. Here’s what I struggle with: - the treadmills are very flimsy and cheap. I’ve ran on numerous treadmills for years and these ones are not my favorite. - I wish the TVs were closer to the treadmills, instead of off in the distance. It helps on long runs. - at times it can get very crowded, which is result of the affordability and location. They have a ton of members. At times it’s been hard to get onto the machines I need. They should optimize the space with more and more machines and weights instead of a large lobby. - after a busy rush of people the weights and some equipment can seem all over the place. Overall, if you go at the right time. It’s a good experience. Could things be better at all gyms? Absolutely. No gym is perfect!
