- RSRachael ShepherdNov 17, 20251.0Started out great and went downhill from there. My husband got a mobility scooter from them 7 weeks ago now. Very first day encountered problems with batteries not charging, called and was told "how to fix it", needless to say wasn't fixed. It was picked up twice for service and finally a replacement scooter issued. Guess what same problem. Out of 7 weeks of ownership, he has had 4 maybe 5 weeks of limited use because of issues. Hard to get answers from this company, seem to be going in circles. If they are selling products that have issues, they should correct that. We now sit with a scooter he can't use and what seems to be the company line of "we are talking with the engineers of the product". Not at all pleased with the product and at this moment this sales company.

If you would have said it's $74 to walk out of the car before we even look at anything I probably would agree to it but seeing as you didn't I feel like I mean ripped off. So I'd rather burn the other wheelchair I have in the middle of the street then give you any more of my business

Our clients have mobility challenges and are referred to us by therapists and physicians to receive mobility solutions that meets all their unique needs. If you need a wheelchair, your best plan is to talk with your physician or therapist and get a thorough evaluation from a qualified Rehab Technology Supplier (RTS).

Are there any dangers in using an off-the-shelf wheelchair?
Definitely. A standard or not customized chair can cause more harm than good. People come in all shapes and sizes; their chairs must be designed to fit them. In severe situations, a standard or not customized chair may:
- Cause significant physiological and psychological problems
- Lead to an increase in dependence because itâs not used due to lack of comfort
- Cause pressure sores, or decubitus, due to improper cushioning
- Become obsolete quickly if not configured to âgrow with the childâ
- Become a major expense to replace or reconfigure, because most funding sources will only reimburse for a new chair every five years.
