  Our mother was in the care of Home Instead caregivers for multiple months this past year. All caregivers were competent, flexible and considerate with our 100 year-old mother. It was the care and attention we received at the very end of her life, when needs changed literally in a day, that stood out. Within 24 hours Brenda and her scheduling team responded with a 24/7 care schedule for an entire month, and were responsive to make tweaks to the schedule as needed. In the last days when our mother needed hospice care and all that that entails, Brenda stepped in, again with decisive action, to smooth the transition with calm and expertise. Thank you so much.

  My family’s experience with Missoula’s Home Instead was very positive. For years, one of their caregivers helped my parents. My Mom had Alzheimer’s, and my Dad was caring for her at home. Our caregiver adored Mom and spent hours with her chatting, doing crafting & baking projects, lots of armchair exercises and watching (and laughing at) old Disney cartoons. She was a calming, loving, knowledgeable, dependable presence during an extremely difficult time. We knew we could count on her 100 percent, and I will always be enormously grateful for her presence in our lives. We also had a couple other caregivers from Home Instead. With only one exception, they were all lovely & competent people. Unfortunately they didn’t stay with Home Instead and thus weren’t with my Mom for longer than a couple months. I would not be surprised to learn that high turnover among staff is a reality for all home care providers, not just Home Instead. I would recommend Missoula’s Home Instead to any family managing the care of a loved one with dementia. The administrative staff were always helpful & responsive, and the caregiving staff - especially our wonderful caregiver - were exceptional. We love her like family.

  Recently we needed some care for our Aunt and the Home Instead team was great. The staff and trained Caregivers were able to help her recover from her hospital discharge. Their care and concern to make sure she was safe at home with her medications, warm meal and review of her Care Plan from the nurse gave us great comfort in knowing that their team was able to assist since we are not local. I can only give them the highest recommendation and praise. You cannot go wrong with Home Instead helping you and your loved ones.
