As a recovering addict of almost 11 years, today I broke when picking up my sons Oxy for after his surgery tomorrow. When she scanned it I busted into tears and she grabbed my hand and i said “I’m so sorry, even almost 11 years clean this is still so hard, may i have a minute?” She agreed of course. I walked to the edge of the pharmacy and was just bawling asking God for strength. Another pharmacy technician saw me crying and came right over and asked what was going on? I told her. She stood with me right there at the pharmacy and prayed for me. She showed me God is everywhere and he’s protecting me through so many of his people. Thank you for your compassion and kindness. Thank you for not judging me and thank you for seeing my strength when i couldn’t see it myself. Thank you for praising me on taking ahold of my life and continuing to stay strong.
