- JJJillFeb 22, 20231.0I had been seeing Fuller Family as my primary care doctor for several years. During my last annual exam I asked for a referral for a podiatrist for some foot pain. My insurance does not require a referral, I just wanted the name of someone good. Fuller charged me for two appointments, one was charged as a wellness exam and a second appointment because their office "doesn't consider referrals to be included in routine preventative care." I cancelled my future appointments as I am not interested in doing business with doctors that see you as a dollar sign. They have a severe lack of integrity. Not once was I told there would be additional charges for referrals and there is no public notice of this posted in their office anywhere.
