Everyone needs to read this. I went to pick up my eye drops yesterday. The same eye drops I've been using for 6 years and when I got there, they couldn't find my prescriptions. Their app said that all 3 eye drops were ready. I showed her what the app said but after 10 minutes, they could only find one. Then I noticed that I didn't recognize one of the eye drops and she said "well, we only fill them as the doctor orders them!". I told her I don't recognize that medication. She said fine! We just won't fill it then! I searched GoodRx and found out that the Kroger Pharmacy had filled my normal prescription with a brand name prescription that cost $145 more!! I called my doctor who said they most certainly did NOT write the prescription for the brand name, and then they called the pharmacy who insisted it was the same medication. The pharmacy took it upon themselves to alter my doctor prescribed meds!! They can't do that! It seems to me that Kroger is running a scam to rob people of money now by breaking the law and changing prescriptions that cost more money. This pharmacy wasn't going to fill my doctor ordered prescription unless I took the brand name instead. That's robbery. You tell me why they would do that. If my doctor says to fill the prescription as Timolol, what right does the pharmacy have to change that prescription to Betimol?! DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY. Your life could depend upon it
