My first dental checkup at Rebel Smile was pleasant and stress free. I met Courtney, the office manager, when I called the office to see if Rebel Smile was in my insurance network. Within a few minutes, I had an appointment and Courtney had made contact with my previous dental office for past X-rays. The following week, I arrived at office opening time for my scheduled appointment. I was greeted by a very welcoming staff member. She motioned for me to come in and held the door for me. I thought how welcoming she was. I signed in. The waiting area was comfortable and there was a table set up with coffee and Easter decorations. I had just enough time to thumb through a magazine and take a picture of a pasta salad (which I made for Easter). After a few minutes, I was greeted by Lizzy, the dental hygienist. She was soft spoken and talked with me as she took my X-rays. Another young lady, Dee, also a dental hygienist and Courtney were hovering. I felt very comfortable with their care for me. After the films were complete, I was taken to another small exam room. On the way there I saw a child’s area, and another adult in the exam room across the hall. She was talking to the dentist who had her back to me. The wall colors were soothing and everything was clean, neat and without that medical office smell… The dentist, Dr.Allen, came in and as it turned out, she was the nice young lady that held the door for me on my arrival. Her friendliness continued. Dr.Allen’s dental exam was thorough, informative and educational with the focus on flossing and gum disease. All along, Lizzy and Dee were hovering. They were such a nice team. Then I met Josie. Wearing a mask and gloves , she came into the exam room ready to work. Josie painlessly cleaned my teeth and set up an appointment for me for another cleaning in 6 months. On my way back to the front desk, I passed a wide-eyed little boy sitting in a child’s desk. The staff was keeping him company and he looked as comfortable with it all as I felt. They were nice. I stopped at the desk before leaving. Courtney said she had taken care of everything and they would see me at my next scheduled appointment in 6 months. They all made a point of telling me good bye. Great teamwork, great rapport! Professional. Thank you! KN P.S. No cavities😊

I have always been apprehensive about going to the Dentist but after meeting Dr. Allen and her staff in Oxford for a routine cleaning I can’t say anything other than, I was impressed. Every detail from the facility to the communication and everything in between was top notch. After my initial visit I learned I needed an extraction and boy was I not looking forward to that, but I have to say I was blown away with the sincere personal attention and care I was given by the entire staff. Lizzie could tell I was nervous and made sure I was comfortable the entire time and was so very polite to me. Dr. Allen told me what was happening every step of the way and I did not feel pain during the procedure. If you need some work done and you are nervous about where to go, this is the place.
