An Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon specializes in treating many diseases, injuries, and defects of the jaws and face. After dental school, the additional four years of training focuses on a wide variety of surgical disciplines and managing medically complex patients. A large part of training is also dedicated to the safe and effective delivery of anesthesia care for patients.
I couldn’t have had a more positive experience every step of the way, and in every facet of the process. Pam at the front was welcoming and kind, and went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. Regrettably, I can’t remember the names of the two ladies who handled billing and scheduling, but they were also wonderful.
Dr Clay Thames was the most genuinely warm and engaging (and funny!) medical professional I’ve encountered. He had a fantastic bedside manner and was thoroughly informative and clear in conveying all pertinent information and in addressing all questions and concerns.
Most importantly, the work done on my extractions was done with great care and efficiency. I could not recommend more highly!

Over priced and pushy. I was told I needed 500 to 700 for tooth extraction because my insurance wouldn't pay for Anastasia to pull one tooth. 2x as much as my wisdom tooth removal. Got in touch with Serene Oral surgery and EVERYTHING was covered. $127 dollars out of pocket and excellent service at Serene Oral surgery.
