We called before we came and nobody answered, On the page working hours said until 10 we walked in at 9:10 they told us they can’t accept us and they rejected us said that they only take a specific amount of patients. This is not nice and acceptable we lost our time to drive and then got disappointed to. If you want to work to only accept a specific amount of patients you should put that on your website so people don’t waste their time. Anyways don’t recommend coming at all and won’t be coming back!
So we really liked the doctor a whole lot( she explained every thing to us and was just a really nice person ) and the nurse as well , the front desk lady was extremely rude for no reason . The building was super clean, bathroom had toilet paper, very easy to sign in on computer , awesome they have a cool waiting area for kids ,I would so give them 5 stars if not for the front desk lady!

As soon as we walked through the door they say capacity is met we cant take you, even though they werent at clising time and my 8 year old son had burned his leg. We went to Wash U urgent care up the street and they were great.

The lady with blue hair at the front desk should not be working with the public and certainly not patients or parents of patience’s coming in with urgency. She is rude, unprofessional and shows no empathy. Considering this is who SSM chooses to employee has me second guessing using any SSM providers for my children’s care. What is even crazier is reading all the other reviews everyone’s complaining about the same position and I am almost certain it is the same employee considering she used that same terminology with us. Yet SSM CLAIMS to want to better yet their number one problem is still sitting at the front desk representing their first impression.

I had an extremely frustrating experience at SSM Urgent Care that completely defeats the purpose of an “urgent” care facility. When someone seeks urgent care, the expectation is that patients will be seen in a timely manner based on medical need. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
Despite arriving for urgent care, patients with scheduled appointments were prioritized ahead of everyone else, leaving walk-in patients waiting indefinitely. After already being there for a significant amount of time, a sign was posted stating there was a 2+ hour wait, which is completely unreasonable for a facility advertising urgent care services.
If the system is designed so that appointments take priority and walk-ins are essentially pushed to the back of the line, that should be made clear before patients waste their time sitting in the waiting room. At that point, you might as well go to the emergency room where at least the triage process is based on urgency rather than appointment scheduling.
The experience was disorganized, misleading, and a complete waste of time. An urgent care facility should function in a way that respects patients’ time and provides timely care for those seeking immediate medical attention. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.
I will never waste my time with this location again and would strongly recommend others consider alternative options if they actually need prompt medical care.
