- HGHeidi GoodsiteApr 1, 20265.0I had same day surgery today and must brag about two of my nurses as they were wonderful. Leah Winckel who is a pre op and discharge nurse. She ‘hit’ my vein first time (no easy feat) and really cared for my well being the entire time. Leah was GREAT! My recovery room nurse, Kelsey Sloan was also a joy! I’m so glad I got her as her level of care was tip top! Overall, the nurses at SLU are outstanding!
