  I was a patient here and at first I thought the nurse was just making small talk with me asking what I do for work and what my family does. But caught on when she was asking me about a specific family member being a doctor. She kept asking me if my family member was prescribing me meds which they NEVER have. I stated that to her and she asked me another THREE times. She then says “okay” and leaves the room. Next thing I know Doctor Matthew’s comes in accusing my family member of illegally prescribing me medication and saying she needs to report my family member to the board of medicine! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! They are so racist here btw. I am a black woman with black family and the nurse kept sizing me up because she didn’t like that black people can be affluent. The doctor EVENTUALLY apologized but I don’t think it was sincere at all. The nurse never apologized. I wish I would have reported her to the board of nursing. She was trying to make a lie about my family member for no reason at all. When I then found a much better obgyn that doesn’t have any racist or rude staff, the office at St.Marys refused to send over any of my information regarding that pregnancy, making things a hassle. DONT GO HERE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE BLACK OR A PERSON OF COLOR.

  I haven’t been taken seriously with my concerns at this office since my first visit in August and I find that so wrong considering it’s women doctors not trying to help me. I have had 3 visits and the first and last have been the worst by far. My last visit I was told I would receive help this visit if things weren’t going well how they expected it to. They gave me advice and things to do before they were willing to prescribe me anything which I did and no difference. They said they supposedly gave my number to a specialist in which I should be getting a call from his office in 1-2 weeks. I would assume the appointment would be a while from now as well. Nobody wants to keep getting pushed back in time with trying to conceive especially since it takes 9 months to grow a healthy baby. They kept making excuses for me and saying if I wanted to be “pregnant by yesterday” they would talk to the Dr above them in charge so they can prescribe medication but of course did not follow through. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY AND IF YOU WANT YOUR CONCERNS TO BE HEARD AND HELPED WITH.

  They are cool with labor and delivery but once you deliver all that care is out the window I feel like cause I’m black and young I’m getting mistreated that’s just my opinion. They do an exceptional job with prenatal and L&D don’t get me wrong but anything else no

  Maternity, delivery and postpartum care has been exceptionally great to me. I like all my nurses and the staff members I encountered were really helpful & nice .
