This place is a JOKE. VERY Unprofessional and passive aggressive I am not sure if the owner and the people she employs are in entanglements. They make you feel uncomfortable and it came off as very dismissive with me being a person of color. Amy is the type of person that smiles in your face but is putting on a facade I think she secretly dislikes anyone that is willing to challenge her right along with the rest of her clique.

Home Instead was hired upon recommendation of the Memory Care Center where my father was living to sit with him from 7pm to 7am as he needed to be watched overnight to prevent falls due to trying to get out of bed without assistance.
We assumed the sitters were arriving at 7pm to sit with our dad, but on the 9th night of having a sitter, she showed up at 8:20pm, not at 7pm. My sister and our mom were at the Center with our father at 5pm to help him with dinner, and then sat with him from 6 to 7pm. The sitter was supposed to be there at 7pm and was not. My sister called Home Instead at 7:30pm and the staffer on the phone said the sitter signed in at 7pm. The staff person said that he would check around and call my sister back. At 8:20pm, Home Instead called back and my sister said that we would cancel the sitter for this PM and from here on forward as they had not shown up, and that she would just stay overnight with him tonight and on forward, and at that moment, the sitter showed up with a bag of food stating that she had been heating up her dinner. It took 1 hour and 20 minutes to heat her dinner? She also stated that during the past few times of sitting (this would be her 5th time with our father), our father was always in bed and asleep at 7pm. So this makes us wonder, did she leave him alone during this time during past sitting?
We were very upset that this sitter was obviously doing something else during this one hour and 20 minutes of employment. My sister relieved the company of their services starting the next PM as my sister agreed to go ahead and have the sitter stay for this last PM as she was there. We did not receive any sitting notes for that night, as we had previously from this sitter and from the other three sitters.
If you hire this company to sit with your loved one, I suggest being there at random times to ensure that the sitter is there when they are supposed to be there. We understand being a bit late due to traffic or other unforeseen circumstances, but 1 hour and 20 minutes? This is unacceptable.
