I was called to the back for different reasons and I never saw a dr. I came in with pain and I left in pain. Urgent care sent me there because they felt like my problem was serious, but The hospital didn't feel this way

I went to the Emergency Department to be seen for severe pain in my left side. This was on my doctor’s orders.
I was never examined, no room, never saw a doctor, was given no tests, and wasn’t listened to when I told them that it wasn’t sciatica, this was different.
They still administered medication for sciatic pain, which didn’t help much. I went in at an 8 in pain and left at a 7.
I was blown off when I told them the last time I came in for severe pain, I was admitted for observation.
I was also told PT, which is great, but when I explained at the discharge that my insurance doesn’t cover it and I don’t have money for that, I was given an eye roll.
This experience left me hurting at home when I came in for help. I feel I was neglected and received no care.

The service was soo much better, then what I was use too in the past. I was seen immediately, staff we're all pleasant to everyone, and attentive to the patients needs. The wait time was still long, but it seem like they were short staffed, 😕 but other then that the service has transformed into changes I can live with.. 😉 🤔

I had a great patient caring experience at SSM Health St. Mary's today. The visit seemed long, but part of the careful thorough comprehensive assessment of my care. Each department rendered excellent professional TLC. Thank you. Keep up the good work. God bless you all. Feeling much better.
