Love the whole team at Mini Dental Implants of America! Dr. Baggett III, Lori, Taylor and of course Carol make you feel so comfortable! I absolutely love this place, and feel so at ease. Whether Dr. Baggett is putting his set of Implants in, taylor making sure everything fits perfect, or Lori making magic happen behind the scenes! Ive been to alot of dentist in my life and I by far feel the most at home there, and cant wait for my final product!

I went in for a consultation and ended up walking out because all I heard was the staff gossiping about another patient. Absolutely unprofessional. Who wants to get care from a business that talks about their patients negatively especially where waiting patients can hear

I have a bottom partial denture that sets upon 2-teeth on each side, left & right. 1 of the four (4), crowned teeth that serves as anchors broke off and I have an open hole ripe for infection and pain. I called trying to get an appointment thinking that having a broken tooth which is beyond my control would surely mean that I was a much more serious case for concern but, I was wrong. I was in no way expecting to be seen as early as tomorrow or even the next week. I understand completely that there are others that most assuredly possess more complicated problems & required more complicated procedures. Regardless, I was told “It doesn’t matter if your tooth has broken off or not, the earliest we can get you in for ANY appointment is January 30, 2025.” I asked if having a broken tooth mattered or was of more concern to which the receptionist responded “No.”. So, I suppose unless you have massive infection, bleeding gums & may run the risk of the infection spreading from an open hole in your gums is of no concern to this particular Dentist? It appears to be “First come, first served”, regardless of the possible health risks one may be facing due to the problems that has brought you to this point? One is left with the realization you most likely will have to resort to a liquid diet to stay alive and/or somewhat healthy as not ingesting any food would guarantee a most grim outcome but apparently that doesn’t matter either? It causes me to reflect upon & have great concern for a healthcare provider that has zero concerns regarding any possible problems outside of normal problems and/or complications you may or may not be facing. I was apparently under the false perception that even Physicians of Dentistry “triage”, their patients providing care starting with the most severe and going from there, downward to patients of little or less danger or to the mundane of oral health. I could not in good conscience recommend these dental physician(s), or their facilities based upon the fact that they place little or no concern upon their patients health concerns, irrespective of the severity. I am in no way commenting or denigrating on the Dental Physicians here, in regards to their education, experience, abilities, qualifications & bedside manner. Perhaps their policy is to leave all assessments of care and the severity of your health to their secretaries and/or receptionists? I hope this has helped anyone seeking oral healthcare. Thank you for your time and the space to express my concerns.

Frequently Asked Questions About Mini Dental Implant Centers of America - Springfield, MO
What Is a Mini Dental Implant?
A mini dental implant is a true dental implant, just like a traditional or standard implant, in that it is placed directly into the bone. The primary difference lies in its diameter. According to the American Dental Association, mini dental implants are defined as having a diameter of 3.0 millimeters or less, whereas traditional implants are larger than 3.0 millimeters.
One of the key benefits of mini dental implants is that they require less bone for placement. This allows us to treat millions of patients who may have been told they are not candidates for traditional implants due to insufficient bone volume. In most cases, we can place these narrow-diameter, one-piece implants without the need for bone grafting. They are solid, strong, and provide a reliable solution for patients who would otherwise be unable to receive implant treatment.
Do You Offer Solutions for Loose Dentures?
Patients with loose or uncomfortable dentures are often the ones who contact us most urgently—they're frustrated with dentures that shift, cause discomfort, and feel unstable. Mini dental implants offer a solution by allowing us to stabilize many existing dentures, often on the same day.
Different Types of Dentures: Which One Is Best For You?
If you’re concerned about having teeth that need to be removed and are worried about being left without teeth afterward, that’s a valid concern—and one we take seriously. At our office, you will never be without teeth. We provide transitional dentures that can be placed immediately, allowing you to maintain function and appearance during the healing phase.
If you currently wear a denture that needs to be replaced, we offer several options. This includes a standard denture, similar to what you might find at other offices, as well as upgraded solutions like the Artisan high-impact acrylic overdenture. We also offer zirconia roundhouses, which can be cemented or used as a semi-fixed solution.
Whether you're struggling with loose or uncomfortable dentures or facing the loss of additional teeth and need to explore your denture options, we’re here to help. Contact us for a complimentary consultation and CBCT 3D X-ray.
What If I Don't Have Enough Bone for a Dental Implant?
Approximately 60% of patients missing teeth are told they lack adequate bone for traditional dental implants. However, that’s not the end of the story. Using a CBCT 3D X-ray, we can more accurately assess bone availability.
In our experience, up to 90% of these patients are still candidates for mini dental implants, even when traditional implants are not an option.
