If you want Meta Glasses go somewhere else. I stopped by to buy Meta glasses and was greeted right away, but when I asked if the display glasses could be sanitized, the employee ignored me until I asked again for cleaning supplies myself. After waiting, a young man helped me but seemed unsure of what to do and had to keep asking another employee for guidance. He told me a price tag of about $379, but at checkout, the total jumped to over $480. If the glasses are 3 something and I have a 200 frame allowance, and a lense allowance how is my total 4 something? When I asked about it, he said that price he initially gave was for the Gen 1 Ray-Bans, not the Gen 2 I was looking at. I asked to buy the Gen 1s instead, and he checked with the lady at the front desk, who said they might have some in the back but he never offered to check or give me a quote. My daughter was with me and thought I should wait for the more knowledgeable person to help. I left without glasses and felt like no one cared about making a sale. I’d been waiting all year to use my benefits on these, but I won’t be back.

had an amazing experience at LensCrafters in the Midway Mall! I have to give a huge shout-out to Christa, who is hands-down the best employee ever. She was helping multiple people at once, juggling so many tasks seamlessly, and never once lost her smile or her positive attitude. It’s rare to see someone handle a busy environment with that much grace and professionalism. Christa made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable — she truly went above and beyond!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
