I can't really say. I mean it didn't take long to get in. They did a CT scan and then sent me to SLUH.

This hospital flat out sucks, super long wait and doctors don’t take your condition seriously, you’ll be waiting in hours in pain, no treatment at all and get sent home to take tylenol after stating you already tried that, but whatever. I’m going to Mercy after this visit, absolutely terrible and the rooms are disgusting and sheets are stained.
This was my first time coming to this ER and I was amazed at the outstanding care! I had no wait time at all and within 5 minutes of walking in the door they had me on an EKG to test my heart. They were very professional and kind and did every other test to see what was wrong and made me feel safe and cared for!

Dr. Schilling, the ED attending this evening exhibited gross medical negligence and misconduct in the care and treatment of my son. My child was exhibiting textbook picture symptoms of serotonin syndrome: violent tremors, excessive sweating, chest pain, and lethargy. This condition was brought on by the start of a new medication within the SNRI category. Despite giving Dr. Schilling more than enough historical and clinical information, she insisted that my son was merely having anxiety and was safe to discharge. My son was NOT reassessed. She did not listen to his heart and lungs nor complete a neurological exam. She did not wake him or assess his mental status. When her decision for discharge and diagnosis was questioned, she became arrogant, dismissive, condescending, and venomous. The initial plan was to observe overnight, however, to be spiteful toward a calm and concerned African-American mother, she elected to pentalize the patient and discharge in retaliation. Dr. Schilling had no clear thought or direction when differentiating diagnoses and quite literally IGNORED his condition. I will be watching my son closely and providing the care she refused. I will have him seen elsewhere if he awakens to additional symptoms. Dr. Schilling will choose patient harm over safety if her ego is on the line.
