  Had an ultrasound at SSM Lake St Louis for a mass in my neck. Head and neck was ordered. I showed them where the mass was but a student did my scan and only scanned my thyroid . The tech was new and said she was still learning the protocols . By definition lymph nodes salivary glands and carotid should be included . They only scanned my thyroid . Did not scan mass that I pointed out . I feel like I was their test subject at MY expense since now I have to pay for a useless scan and have no answers for the mass in my neck. Now I will have to go somewhere else to get a proper scan .

  i had an abdominal ultrasound appointment at 7am. i was asked to arrive 10 minutes early as usual, no problem! keeping in mind that i live a good distance away + morning traffic, i left home at 6am. the ultrasound technician didnt even call me in me until 8:30am! it was because the person behind me was very late to their appointment, but at that point just tell them to reschedule! don't push a longer wait onto people who were on time for their appointments. that's just really sucky. that aside, both the front desk staff and technician were very kind and helpful! i got my results on MyChart in a matter of hours. free coffee was also a bonus! steaming hot with a huge selection of different creamers, sugars, etc. if that's your thing. :)

  MRI Test and all went great. The lady nurse was nice and gave me a tub thing to put my jewelry in. The guy nurse (sry forgot name) he was the one who did the MRI on me but he was ok at first but when test was done and I went to get my things from my locker. Put my ring back on. On way out I simply asked the guy nurse if they keeps these tubs or to trash them. He told me to throw it out then went back to his phone call and said “sorry I had a retarded patient asking me something.” I ended up just walking out. I know I probably should have said something but I don’t do very good with people and confrontation and all. Wish my memory was better so I could remember his name. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of just 1 is cuz the lady nurse was nice.
