  We had a really great experience at HRPC, especially with Dr. Lu. We came into our appointment during a really tough week after a death in our family, so we were pretty emotional. Everyone in the office was incredibly kind, patient, and respectful with us, which meant more than I can put into words. Dr. Lu has such a great bedside manner. He explained our results in a way that actually made sense (not super medical or overwhelming) and made sure we understood what was going on. He also walked us through our options and took time to answer all of our questions without making us feel rushed. We’re really thankful for the care we received and would definitely recommend this office to anyone needing high-risk pregnancy care.

  Never returning to this location again, this is my second pregnancy, second go around at this location and I’d like to say they’re FAR from empathetic. My papers were forgotten, I arrived literally ONLY 5 minutes behind and can’t be seen after driving 25 minutes to get here, how ridiculous! They’re not that busy where I could not be seen at all! There policy is absolutely absurd! I would not recommend this location at all! My last pregnancy Dr. Lu doesn’t show any type of empathy if there are concerns what so ever. Even with me going into labor one month early on my last pregnancy, he was supposed to show up and did not! I do not recommend this location what so ever.

  I feel like I’ve been mistreated and it’s very unfair here. I was unaware I had a balance on my account and was caught off guard when I was told I needed to pay the full amount before we could be seen the day of my appointment. My next appt I called the day before my appt to see if I had another balance. I told them I was unable to pay and asked them about a payment plan. They told me I could pay $70 less than the full amount and I explained I still would be unable to pay at my appointment. I was told I could not be seen and they cancelled my 2 scheduled appts with them. I called them today because my regular OB recommended I still see them due to some things on my last ultrasound. I call and they tell me I was on a do not reschedule list because I cannot pay my balance. I was never rude to this office one time. I was very surprised. I am highly disappointed on the level of compassion and how they would not work with me. I have not felt cared for and will be going somewhere else for my continued care.

  Dr Lu and his techs were the sweetest but the front desk lady, she is not. I felt extremely judged and discriminated against by her. Everytime she’d talk to me she’d talk like I was a child, sure I’m 18 almost 19, young to be a mom but I’ve done everything in my power to make sure my baby is healthy and never once has this lady greeted me with a smile. Another issue I have is everytime I leave I ask “do I owe anything” and I’m always told the same exact thing “no see you next time” now this lady is telling me I’m being removed from the schedule and practice if I do not pay all this money in one day.

  Had a great experience here overall and had a great experience with all the nurses except one. I had her twice and her attitude was absolutely HORRIBLE. Had an attitude about any questions I ever asked her, hurried through my whole ultrasound and got an attitude when I told her I wanted to insert the tool myself to read my cervix when she was the one for my FIRST appt that told me to do it myself if I felt uncomfortable. Her name is Stephanie, BTW. Do anything you can to avoid her and her crappy attitude. If you get Lisa, she’s WAY better and makes you feel welcome and is by far the sweetest nurse they have
