DO NOT GO HERE thinking you are going to a typical urgent care. My daughter went here for a head cold at the end of last year and any other urgent care is a $25 copay on our insurance. She has been charged for an "EMERGENCY" visit...almost $300 after insurance. Multiple calls to SSM and they say it is correct and multiple calls to our insurance and they say SSM submitted it on the wrong form. Evidently they say there is a sign on the front window that you will be charged a facility charge. What a joke...they are literally charging you twice for the provider care. To make matters worse, they prescribed my daughter a medicine she is allergic to after telling them she was allergic to it. I am the king of 5 star reviews...it takes a lot to upset me, but this one has done it. My kids routinely go to MU Health, Boone Health and JCMG urgent cares for similar visits and it is always a $25 copay to just get a flu and covid test and look for a sinus infection.
How you gonna call yourself an urgent care but not be open when yall supposed to be, go to any other urgent care besides this one

I took my son in, they tested for strep, negative. I asked if they'd test him for influenza, and they said they didn't want too! What?! Checked his ears, said he had an ear infection. Amoxicillin. Now my whole house it sick. With what? Influenza A! And as soon as they said ear infection, I should've known they were just slapping something random on it.

Absolute worst experience I have had with an urgent care. I went in not too long ago because I was feeling very sick. Chills, body aches, labored breathing, and over just feeling crappy. They brought me to the back and took all my vitals, I did indeed have a fever. After this, they proceeded to give me a Covid test and a Flu test, both of which came back negative. After this, they told me my illness was a viral infection and there was nothing else they could do for me, they suggested cold medicine and rest and said if I wasn’t better in a week to come back. I tried to insist it was something else but hey, they are the professionals…right?
I proceeded to struggle through that day taking medicine and laying in bed. After a terrible night of sleep, I woke up the next morning feeling significantly worse. I started looking for other options and ended up doing an over the phone clinic. I told them all my symptoms and lo and behold, they suggested TO GO BACK TO AN URGENT CARE BECAUSE MY SYMPTOMS WERE BAD ENOUGH IT COULDN’T BE TREATED OVER THE PHONE. I explained the situation I just went through with the online doctor and they told me seriously needed to go to the doctor.
I then went to an Emergency Room where they took me back and immediately x-rayed my chest, something this place certainly should have considered. They very quickly came back to my room and told me I had pneumonia and started hooking me up to IV’s immediately. After a few hours in the emergency and an antibiotic, I started feeling better very quickly.
I am certainly no doctor but it seems like common sense to at least try more options than 2 tests that everyone who walks in the door gets. If I would have waited the suggested week, I am not sure I would have died, but I would have been in some pretty terrible shape.
Then 2 weeks later they send me a bill for over $600, PATHETIC.
Terrible experience, DO NOT GO HERE!
