  My experience with Dr. Carrie Vaughan has been life changing. I had so many symptoms and my doctors were starting to suggest that I had somatic symptom disorder. I gave up on doctors. I am a nurse and for years looked for answers on my own and made some limited progress. I was beginning to wonder if I would even be able to continue working. Then, I ran across the term functional medicine and that led me to finding Dr. Vaughan. At our first meeting, she spent a lot of time with me going over my symptoms. Based on this conversation, she ordered testing and from the results was able to come up with a plan designed specifically for me. I literally feel like a new person. I wish every doctor practiced medicine the way that Dr. Vaughan does. She will help you heal.

  Dr Carey has helped me in so many ways! I was drawn to her for osteopath adjustments but ended up learning so much about my body with her functional medicine recommendations! I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to improve your health and enrich your life!

  Great nutritional knowledge base. very pushy for preferred brands of supplements, very closed minded to reading labels of any other brands for a more cost effective avenue. No regard for patient feelings, very poor bedside manner. Told me after having a miscarriage (documented by my OB, and the St. Mary's ER) that I "was never actually pregnant, because (I), at 12 weeks, was not far enough along for it to be a 'real' baby" therefore what I had experienced was not infact a 'miscarriage'. It was at this point I walked away from her practice. There were other red flags along the way, this however, was my last straw. No Dr. regardless of political belief or opinion should ever look at a grieving mother and tell her that her child wasn't real.

  I have been a patient of Dr. Vaughan's since 2013, and have followed her into her own practice because she is the most thorough, dedicated doctor I've ever had. Light years better than CapRegion physician group in my experience. She is literally just that amazing. She will always listen to her patients and not give up until a diagnosis and treatment that actually WORK are determined.
