I member of the staff I came in contact with at the emergency room was extremely professional, very confident and totally concerned With determining the cause of my condition. I could not have asked for butter treatment. I did not have my phone with me and I have no photos.

I had the best experience there. My ER doctor ( Mathew Greenstein MD) and Nurses last night were amazing. I had a great time even under not so great circumstances. So, Thank You SSM Health St. Marys Hospital, Jefferson city. I was in and out with a CT scan in a total of 4 and a half hours. Very professional and everyone had great bedside manners! Highly recommend this Hospital!!

The ER was very busy but the staff attended to each of those waiting in a caring manner. Even finding a room for a Mom with infant twins at 9:00 at night. After a 3 1/2 hr wait I was taken to a room. They made sure I was comfortable as I waited again to be treated. The nurse was very sympathetic and caring. The hospitalist, Matt, was very efficient and went to extra measures to verify what was occurring and to answers our questions and concerns. I had had surgery that morning so a long day; Matt had a long day also . As we left St Mary’s about 12:30 am, he still had another 5 1/2 hours of work. We don’t necessarily want to go back to the ER anytime soon. we would definitely choose St Mary’s ER.

Worst ER experience ever. I came by ambulance due to high blood pressure, headache, shortness of breath and severe nausea. The Dr came in the room and said I know what's going on with you... Anxiety. Before he ever spoke to me. Just because a 20year old has A PAST HISTORY of anxiety doesn't mean what I WAS DEALING WITH was. It wasn't because the next day I was having the same symptoms and got treated at MU where they did extensive testing and diagnosed me with very atypical migraines that were causing severe nausea, shortness of breath, high blood pressure and low heart rate. There was no one in the ER at St. Mary's and the care was absolutely horrendous. The nurse and tech were rude. Dr was not intentional with his questions and assumed diagnosis before soeaking with me. When I was discharged, the doors wouldn't open so i went back to the nurses station to ask if they could open the door for me. A nurse I hadn't met was happy talking to coworkers when she saw me and her face dropped and rudely asked, "what do you want?". I asked to be able to leave since its a lock down unit and no one was in the lobby to let me out. Don't go here if you're a young woman and needing care. This ER is a disgrace to healthcare.

My doctor sent me to the ER when my blood pressure had spiked. Since I had some chest pressure he thought I needed testing he's not equiped to do. The nurse who checked my blood pressure, performed an EKG, and took blood, was gentle and reassuring. The blood tests came back sooner than expected. I was taken to an exam room and another nurse took over. She was very good also. Dr. Lee was awesome. He checked all aspects and left me feeling much more informed about what was happening, which ended up not being serious. I left in about 2 hours assured I was fine, but to follow up with my PC Physician. I would recommend St Mary's to anyone.
