OK, so the Front Desk lady was wonderful. She was very polite and very accommodating.
The nurse was not bad she was cordial. She wasn’t overly friendly, but she wasn’t rude Either, she just doing her job .
Dr. Gonzales herself made me feel awful for being there, I felt like a vain old woman just worrying about her toes. She did not seem to be overly interested in helping me…gave me a lot of reasons why I shouldn’t do.
it made me feel like she didn’t wanna do it, for sure. Well, if I’m being honest…also her appearance and her bedside manner left a lot to be desired. Completely unprofessional.
I won’t be scheduling an appointment with her and I won’t ever be going back.

Never again.
I’ve been trying to get treatment for a problem with my left Achilles since June.
Spent lots of money on x rays, a boot, follow ups, more x rays, an MRI…
They sent me to the rheumatologist.
They lectured about taking pain meds after stretching 24 days worth of meds to almost 60 days.
I am a 50-year-old grandma with a job, a marriage and a mortgage, so obviously I need lessons on how to be responsible from people who make 10 times more than me. (Yes, that is absolutely sarcasm.)
Despite very conservative use of my meds, to be spoken to that way felt stigmatizing and demoralizing.
I’ve also been taking an injection they prescribed for inflammation and it’s fine but no one will call me back to follow up on that either. I’m still not better. Do I keep taking it? Do I stop? I don’t know. Doctor won’t call me.
Then, here’s the super cute part…
After jumping through all their hoops and needing a little more help until I can get more labs and antibiotics for the infection that has apparently been causing the pain this whole time… (thanks to rheumatology for figuring it out)
They intentionally sent me to a place that manages -chronic- pain ONLY.
I have an acute problem. It’s an infection.
This journey started at my primary doctor’s office a year ago.
Now they want me to go to the ER for the pain.
With what money?!?!?!?
Between the primary, the podiatrist, the MRI and the rheumatologist, and this pointless pain clinic today, I don’t have any money left for ER bills.
What a horrible way to treat someone after taking their money.
Go elsewhere if you are a woman experiencing pain unless you want to be gaslit and dismissed.
