Every person I encountered from front desk check in to scheduling follow up was courteous and professional. Dr Sherry Ma was thorough and attentive.

Do not go here. You’re a test subject and they don’t know anything. I had to go to the emergency room the same day because I didn’t know what was going on and one of these doctors said that I could continue work. I’ve been unable to work for 6 months. Then I called them three times right after the appointment And left messages and no answer or call back. All their patients are over the age of 70 because those are the only people they can trick into getting treatment

If you have a referral and test results from a different health system, do not bother trying to schedule here. The doctors will not read test results that were not performed by them, and will request that you have the tests redone by them, but will not even offer to schedule.

I called to get an appointment, was told I had to have my primary care doctor send them a referral and my records first then they would evaluate my records to decide if I was someone they would even see. Was told they would call me if I was but that the appointment wouldn't be until January or February if they did accept me as a patient, it's first week of July when I called! Ok so I went to my primary care doctor told them what happened when I called this neurologist and she sent me to get full back X-rays and handed me a referral for the neurologist. I went to SSM St Clair and got the X-rays, walked next door and gave the referral slip to neurologist desk and asked to make an appointment. Then I'm told I can't make an appointment because I have to have my primary care doctor order an MRI, send the report to the neurologist along with a new patient appointment request and wait to see if they accept my case. The receptionist also points out "this is a surgery practice, we do not do treatments just surgeries just so you are aware"! I'm thinking what kind of doctor decides if he will do surgery on you based on an MRI only before he'll even see you? There might as well be a sign out front that reads " I don't care about you or your pain, just whether your internal picture shows something I want to tackle or not"! That's a cold, impersonal, money only mentality and I can't imagine what you'd have to go through or how long you'd have to wait to talk to the doctor much less see one AFTER surgery, when they've already got your money, if you had a problem! They are rude before you even get to meet the doctors! Ohhhh, and I was also asked if I'd ever had a back surgery before, when I replied yes I was asked how long ago. I replied years ago and the response was a chipper "oh good, then you're due"! They never even asked what the surgery back then was for!!!!!
