  First time at this location and I loved it! Bigger space than I'm use to in Maplewood. My son enjoyed the kids care room more. They had lots of equipment that was new to me that I haven't seen at the Maplewood location or even my other gyms which was awesome. Also, had a guy working out near me who took the time to help give me some advice....which I loved and am always open to. I can always use any help when someone is willing. I will definitely be back....this may be my new go to location when I'm not on a time crunch.

  Greedy people. I am glad more gyms are opening up in Fenton. Hoping unhappy people from Club Fitness move to Crunch or Planet Fitness. This should be a lesson to the management who decided not to allow members from locations they had previously allowed. I would have continued my membership if they hadn’t instructed their team to kick people out so abruptly. A better tactic would have been to work with members, convince them to pay more, or create a separate plan to use the location instead of brutally asking them to leave the gym. They probably never thought that two competitors would open within a two mile radius and take away their members.

  Since this chain rebranded under the name Club Elite, I’ve noticed a shift in culture. The focus seems to have moved from member support toward surface-level upgrades and higher costs. While my membership is covered through insurance, I still find the overall direction concerning. Recently, I spoke twice in person with a manager to confirm that I could bring a camera person to film my workout. I’m physically challenged, and these sessions are part of my ongoing physical therapy. It was made clear that she would not be training, only documenting the session. I was told this would be fine and that she would simply need to sign a waiver. When we arrived the next day, the same manager contradicted those confirmations, saying she needed to purchase a day pass due to a rule I was never informed of. I had made sure to verify everything beforehand, so the sudden reversal was disappointing. I’ve been a loyal member for years and used to speak highly of this chain, but lately, it feels less people-focused and more constrained by policy and inconsistency.

  Love the new American Barbell equipment. Hopefully see more of this equipment in the future. The Panatta stuff is just okay. Overall, lots of variety of good equipment and other amenities.
