  I initially loved my experience with CP. I went up to 5x a week. Unfortunately I experienced a debilitating back injury (not related to Pilates). I wanted to keep my membership active, as I planned on retuning. So I spent the monthly fee to do so. All in all I spent over $500 and didn’t go to a single class since May. I was late in extending my membership freeze 2x and they charged me a whole month’s membership fee. Seeing as I couldn’t predict when my physical therapist and spine doctor would release me for exercise, it was hard to notify them timely. I asked if I showed proof of me being in treatment for a horrible and very painful spine injury, if they could consider not charging me for the month, and no one responded. One would think that a place that considers its practices to be healing for someone with my type of injury would take into consideration that healing is hard to predict and I’m not quitting for any other reason other than I don’t want to pay so much money for a practice I currently can’t participate in. Not the case. I received no email back and was charged the full monthly fee this morning. It’s sad that they ultimately care more about money than their clients. Guess it’s typical of a corporate company. I have ordered my own reformer and l look forward to getting back to practice once I’m cleared to do so. Just wish I could have the amazing instructors I grew to appreciate so much. Especially Amy S. She’s the absolute best teacher and will be missed.

  This studio is clean and bright. The team is always friendly and helpful. Challenging workouts and great teachers!

  I rarely leave reviews but I’m appalled by what happened today. Leigh, the instructor, was extremely rude. She failed to offer options to make exercises more or less challenging. When I adjusted the springs to make something harder, she straight-up yelled at me in front of everyone: ‘NEVER do that in a Club Pilates class! That’s dangerous!’ and I was so utterly shocked I can’t even remember what else she said while reprimanding a paying client. It was unnecessary, awkward, and made the whole class uncomfortable. She did try to apologize at the end, but she was extremely condescending. I’ve been to hundreds of fitness classes, I was an instructor myself years ago and I’ve never witnessed such a thing. A few more notes: the women at the front desk are wonderful, if only they were trained instructors. Second, most of their instructors could work on positive reinforcements and better constructive criticism whether it’s form, or simply because people can’t hear them. I will never return to this studio, and seeing other reviews about rude instructors is not surprising.
