    I don’t usually post reviews whether it be positive or negative however, I feel this needs attention. Today I called Planet Fitness the Broadway location in Columbia because I noticed two unusual charges from Planet Fitness on my credit card account. The girl who answered the phone ( I’m saying girl because that’s how she acted was like a child) first told me the charges were because they tried to charge my card for the last three months but it didn’t go through. I told her that was incorrect because I have proof from my statement to say otherwise. So then she proceeds to tell me they were late fees for both my husband and myself. My credit card they had on file was compromised so the bank shut it down before they were able to charge November dues for both me and my husband. However, they had a second card on file and charged that card my dues plus $20 each in (VALID) late fees. The toddler manager Brandon hopped on the call and basically told me there was nothing he could do not to mention his very unprofessional attitude towards me. I’m not gonna lie, I was upset because this is ridiculous to be charged $40 in late fees when they had a backup card on file of which they were able to get their payment. He said that’s not what the backup card is for? Ok, then what is it for and why did you charge it?! I was told that payment was four days late and that’s why the late fees. If it had been 3 days late then no late fees. Well they had my card and could’ve charged it when the other card failed but Planet Fitness waited till the fourth day in my opinion so they could charge me the ridiculous late fees. Toddler Brandon said there was nothing he could do. I called the corporate headquarters and while on hold listened to a message telling me for charges and anything about my bill it’s better to speak to the manager of the location where I have a membership. That they have the authority to fix the problem. However, toddler Brandon would not because he said the charges are (VALID). When I heard that I immediately called back and the girl who I spoke to first answered the phone and I think recognized my number and answered laughing and when I asked to speak to toddler Brandon he too was having a good chuckle I believe at my expense. Needless to say, my husband drove over right away and canceled his membership and I canceled mine online. I guess Planet Fitness doesn’t care who they hire. At least not at this location because if they did, I feel they would hire mature people who have better customer service skills to handle customers when they are upset and not infuriate them more by their snarky comments and rude attitude towards them. Grow up Brandon and learn to be a better Manager.

    I travel the country daily visiting different PF’s along the way. This PF checked all the boxes. Functioning equipment, clean environment including clean locker room and the music was at a reasonable volume. Not so loud you can’t think about what set you’re on. Lol. Thanks PF

    I have been using this location for more than a year. It's a great place, very very clean and everybody is pretty cool. The red light full body enhancement is amazing, great results. I wonder if the management has changed recently though. It used to be the policy, it seems, to say hello and goodbye to everybody, but now staff are always on their phones and it's hard to get their attention if you need something. Things are broken, like the leg part of the massage chair, or one of the women's showers had no hot water. Just little details seem off..great gym and great price though.
