  160 lbs still off after 5 years....whole new life givers!! Use it properly as the tool intended and you can really go far! Highly recommend sleeve gastrectomy!

  I was not your typical weight-loss candidate. I weighed about 325 pounds on 3-2012,but my concerns was to battle daibetes by way of this surgery. I had looked at this surgery back a few years ago but I didn't follow through with the application process. I made a decision in April 2012 that it was time to do something. I was taking 3 shots of insulin and several pills for diabetes, high blood pressure, cholestrol, and others. My A1C was 10.5 in July 2012. I chose to go with the sleeve surgery. I got approved for surgery by the insurance provider at the end of August. I was scheduled for surgery on Oct. 9. I had the surgery done by Dr. Morales @ the SSM weight-loss institute on that day. The nursing staff on 6 SOUTH are the best!! In the middle of December, I had blood work done and my A1C was down to 7.3 in just a short period of time! I have also lost some pounds...60+ and I am not taking any of the medecines that I was on since the day after surgery. What an amazing surgery procedure by Dr. Morales and his TEAM!! From the person at the window to the girls in the back that we don't see, I say "Thank You" for giving me a chance to get my life back. I want to tell everyone who asks me what I have done who has helped me look like a totally new me. I still have work to do with a goal weight of 180-200 pounds. So don't let anyone tell you that this won't work. There are to many sucess stories for it not to be a good option to get your weight and life back in your control. I highly recommend the SSM Weight-Loss Institute!

  Having my RNY surgery completed by Dr. Morales was the best decision I ever made in my life. The entire staff are 100% helpful and give A+ Care.
