  I have been trying for over two weeks to get a neurology-related appointment scheduled, and the process has been extremely frustrating and disorganized. The neurology office initially contacted me to say they could not see the patient because his stroke occurred within the last year. They told me he needed to see a neuro-interventionist and provided a phone number. When I called the neuro-interventionist’s office, they were completely confused as to why the patient was being referred. I explained multiple times that the patient has had a stroke and also has atrial fibrillation. They then requested that all medical records be faxed over, which I promptly did. After following up again to schedule the appointment, I was told they now require a physical disc of the patient’s CT scan. This requirement was not communicated earlier, despite multiple calls and record submissions. The lack of clear communication and coordination between offices has caused unnecessary delays in care. This should not take weeks to arrange, especially for a patient with a history of stroke.

  I absolutely love Dr. Hepner! Unfortunately, I have consistently had bad experiences with the staff, hence only three stars. But good neurologists are hard to find, so it's been worth coming back.

  I just received a phone call from this place and the receptionist did not seem to know anything about the call or why she was even calling me or even at one point she didn’t even know who I was. She asked me if I was somebody else and I said no, then I told her I already had a neurosurgeon and I didn’t understand why she was calling. She hung up without saying goodbye or anything very rude and unprofessional.

  I’ve had to see a neurologist for years now, this was a new office/doctor and I cannot begin to describe how awful my experience was here. The staff over the phone was nothing short of disgustingly rude, and the doctor I saw (Dr. Kaul) was nothing but dismissive and a poor excuse for a doctor. I sure hope other people have a better experience, however I will never return to this office.
