I'm leaving this review specifically for Dr. Saima Baig. She was my client's psychiatrist and was beyond unprofessional. There wasn't a single appointment she was on time for, including his initial intake. We always were forced forced wait up to an hour past our appointment because she wasn't even in the office. And after months of my client seeing her, she still didn't know I never went back in for appointments and that he had them on his own. There was no care or attention given whatsoever during his time as a client. We have since found a much more reliable office at the behavioral health clinic at Depaul. 10/10 do not recommend her for any of your mental health needs because they are obviously not taken seriously.

My family member was admitted to this facility, and I am honestly stunned at how far downhill it has gone. This place is supposed to help people with mental health issues, yet the staff acts like they can’t be bothered to do the bare minimum. I called three separate times trying to speak with my family member’s doctor, and every single interaction with the nurses was rude, dismissive, and filled with some kind of superiority complex. They acted like relaying a simple message was an outrageous inconvenience. They made no effort to communicate with family, no effort to understand the full situation, and absolutely no effort to provide support. And to make matters worse, when my family member was finally released, they were sent out the door with no follow-up plan, no referrals, no resources—nothing. For a mental health facility, that is beyond unacceptable. When visiting, the front desk staff was polite, but the technicians were just as rude and uninterested as the nurses. And the facility itself? Dirty, neglected, and looking like the janitorial staff quit months ago. For a place that claims to support mental health, it feels more like a warehouse holding people until the clock runs out. A glorified adult babysitting center—nothing more. This used to be one of the top facilities in Missouri. Not anymore. Whatever pride, quality, or leadership it once had is gone, and it shows in every corner of that building and every interaction with staff. Something has seriously gone wrong here.

The staff came to the waiting room and asked why my daughter needed to be seen. Sh already stated all this in the paperwork. In front of other patients she asked her why she was seeking help and when my daughter stated she is dissociated and not ok she told us they crony handle that and told us to call a psychiatrist all I. Front of other patients in the waiting room she was never seen by anyone just embarrassed and turned away in the waiting room

Daughter had been treated there several times since highschool. She is bipolar and schizophrenic. Most times I'm unable to rationalize with her. On December 9th she was taken by ambulance to the emergency room. Hours later she was discharged and told if she waited for a ride or any other assistance she would be trespassing. She was cussed out by the head nurse on duty and the police made her leave from outside and stand near parking lot
