The appointment itself was fine. The eye exam, everything was fine. It was the fact that they text in advance to remind you to come early to fill out paperwork or whatnot and I still had to wait an additional 30 minutes after my appointed time. Isn’t the point of an appointment so that you don’t have to wait?

The receptionist was nice, but everyone else acted like I had the plague. I waited quite a while and when I finally was helped the woman didn't sit down with me, but stood. She told me that they were out of their glasses cleaner, but she was nice enough to tell me that if I did get a bottle they would refill it for the life of the bottle, but that I wouldn't get one. I also didn't get a glasses case. The glasses, which cost, $330 for a pair of reading glasses, were fine, that is why I changed it from 1 to 3 stars.

Their online appt service didn’t mention the use a specific machine for the exam that’s not covered under a normal eye insurance so I got stuck paying a $39 fee for that instead of the free exam my insurance covers because I was told I couldn’t opt out of using the machine. Then I had my sunglasses lenses swapped out and was told on multiple occasions it would only take an hour but it took two. I wish they would have let me make an appt for the lenses so I could have actually gotten in and had them replaced timely instead of having to wait two hours for the replacement. Because I have to uber to the appts it’s just not great customer service to be surprised with a fee and then be expecting something done in a specific timeframe just for it to take twice as long.

**NEW FEES** Always have got my eyes checked here and get frames at Costco. They are now charging $39.70 to check your eyes unless you want to do the old school dilation method. They have checked my eyes for years doing the new method and never charged me. This is under new management/ownership within the last year and they are just being greedy. Plenty of places do not charge for this. I will not be returning.

Been going here for a couple years now, I've seen different doctors and all have been nice and answer questions in detail. The receptionists and sales clerks are friendly. All together makes a nice experience and family friendly.
