I’ve been to over 20 classes now, and all were pleasant and informative for beginners. I just had a class that was absolutely amazing because of the instructor! It was my first class with them but I felt like I was getting good advice on my form and how to properly perform the exercise. If you decide to join this club please get into Deseree’s class! I would highly recommend & will back back once I’m back in town :)

I would recommend this Club Pilates to anyone. They make sure that you’re safe during workouts, learning about your injuries and giving modifications from both a limitations and comfort level. They are inclusive for all body shapes and types. They have great member recognition on a regular basis -whether it’s by making sure they know your name or with prizes & activities. They are highly knowledgeable about the practice of Pilates, and the body and teach out about it. I have never left there without feeling like I had a great workout. Worth the investment of yourself.

I found Club Pilates about a year ago after moving to the Waite Park area. Before that, I had been attending a Pilates studio in Brainerd that was closer to where I used to live. Transitioning studios can sometimes feel uncertain, but overall I’ve had a really positive experience here. One thing I appreciate is how well structured the class levels are. It makes it easier to progress in your practice and know what to expect from each class. All of the instructors are certified in their training, which I think is incredibly important when you’re trusting someone to guide movement and body mechanics. They also have instructors in training, which I actually think is great because it shows the studio is invested in developing new teachers and growing the Pilates community. Something I’ve noticed is that some instructors will ask at the beginning of class what you want to get out of your practice that day. I really value that approach and honestly think it would be great if every class did that, because Pilates can be very personal depending on how your body is feeling that day. I highly recommend taking classes with Alison Broadley, the lead instructor. She is extremely emotionally intelligent, very knowledgeable about the body, and creates a really supportive environment for practice. I also really enjoy classes with Des, who is currently an instructor in training. She brings a unique perspective to Pilates because of her dance background, and that kind of diversity in instructor experience really adds value. What I appreciate most is that each instructor brings their own expertise and perspective to Pilates. That variety makes the practice feel more dynamic and allows you to learn something different from every class.
