First off: I love the instructors at the studio, so this review has nothing to do with the quality of the classes or teaching.
I’m adding this review of only two stars because for the past week, the studio showers have no warm water. I was told last Monday and today that the showers would be fixed and as someone who has to commute after class directly to work and knows students who are in the same position, this is unacceptable, especially as the weather becomes extremely cold. I was dismayed when I came in today exactly one week later only to find that the showers were not repaired. All we got a students was a simple we’re sorry, but our water doesn’t work….
Coming out of a heated yoga class to a shower with no warm water is hazardous to your health and can potentially cause medical issues due to the extreme changes in temperature. As someone who has to commute I had no choice and the matter and had to shower all the same.
While one occurrence of this being an issue is one thing, having it happen twice in one week is honestly just unprofessional. I say this is somebody who’s been going to Core Power Yoga since 2023. To boot, the facility is still not on par with the others that I’ve been to (Woodbury, or grand Avenue). I can never recall a time even in the most extreme cold temperatures that either of these other studios I’ve been to has ever had a heated water issue.
The fact that it’s been a week and this continues to occur tells me that there could be something wrong with the water tank and that the studio never got it fixed.
This is disappointing as once again I am emphasizing the instructors are excellent and the class offerings are good. Overall, I think the studio just needs a little more care, especially when it comes to things like having to run heated running water.
I’m a member who’s been paying full price for the all access membership and have been very satisfied with my overall Core Power Yoga experience but this studio appears to be an outlier in that regard…

Great classes! Great location!
Downside is the hottest locker room I have ever been in. I understand it’s summer but I like to shower after class and I still leave as sweaty as before I showered. Feels like for $150+ with no towels offered we could atleast expect the locker room to be usable.

Yoga Sculpt was such an awesome mix of yoga, strength training with weights, fun, and inner peace-building! Abby is phenomenally skilled, motivating, and inspiring teacher, and my day was considerably better because of taking her class!
