Not long ago I would have and did recommend going to Sobriety first, but I highly recommend if you have any other option I would recommend you don't go here, they may take you to these events and stuff but dong be fooled with that part, cause that wears off, when I was last there they were waving the fees of a client who's daddy was supposedly something special at the nest, but when your struggling, not even living pay check to pay check, from helping support you parents battling cancer and one just lost his battle, and when your already struggling is when they add to it never mind the wave fees for certain people, the nickles and dimes your insurance doesn't cover that builds up cause the so many weeks of out patient program they say, be aware it is going to be more like a year or more, so just long enough that if you can't pay it well you will to end up getting a letter in the mail where you are being taken to small claims court plantiffs listed Sobriety first. If you have any other option definitely choose them, if no other options, don't be fooled by the events and stuff like other treatments if not a little worse due to the fact most treatments you or insurance pays they don't waive fees for some but take others to court when they are struggle. They only care about a dollar.

I started calling this facility yesterday at around 2:30pm. It was busy all afternoon. I sent an email and they replied saying that they tried to call me back but my phone 'didn't work.' Convenient... also not true. My phone works just fine. I have been trying again all day today. Still busy... So, for apx. 24 hours, nobody answered the phone and nobody could leave a message. The number 1 person in my world is attending their 'treatment' and I have cause to believe that he is in grave danger and their phone has been busy for 24 hours. It doesn't matter if it's an emergency - answer the damn phone. Incompetent, unprofessional, disgusting. Now I need to take this further. So sick.
Update: It is now Friday - still busy. Upon their direction, I sent an email to my loved one's counselor and have not received any correspondence. Over the course of 2.5 days, 36 calls and a few emails have been met with busy signals, lies, no accountability and no response.

Sobriety First saved my life. I had been to other area treatment centers, and they felt impersonal or punitive, rather than like I was receiving care. Then, a friend who had also “failed” the same treatment program I did told me I should try Sobriety First, because it finally worked for her. I am so glad I did. I found an accepting, nurturing environment, with low staff to client ratios and a highly individualized, meaningful program. My counseling group felt like a family. The care from my group leader (Gwen) was just so genuine, it was contagious. When conflicts or problems arose (rarely, but there’s usually some minor conflict in treatment, considering that everyone is going through a hard time), the “extended family,” the rest of the staff, expressed concern. I felt reassured that the patient’s individual experience is always addressed and respected. We were challenged to delve deeper, stay honest, and take concrete steps to improve our lives. This, again, is where the individualized focus is strong. No cookie cutter solutions, here. I made more mental and chemical health progress at Sobriety First than all the counseling and treatment I had before, put together. The strongest proof is that I have finally stayed drug free! I recommend it to everyone I meet, seeking recovery.
