Bit the bullet and got an eye exam finally (my last one was in 2014, so I was just a bit overdue). The process was super smooth, and my doctor was incredibly nice (all of my testing happened in person, and then got sent over to my doctor telehealth style, which was pretty neat actually!) Valynn helped me pick out glasses (I took my mom in when she was visiting and he helped her our, and I am a simple man who likes to interact with the same people every time). Super helpful, helped me decide on a pair of frames so that I'm not wasting away with headaches at work while making sure he was keeping me well within my budget, and even adjusted my sunglasses twice. 12/10 experience, staff was incredible

I came in late at night because my child knew I needed to go in while I am visiting him, and Valynn was who helped me, he is so sweet and nice. He answered all my questions and even fixed my frames (which have been falling down my face for ages) and even replaced my nose pads so that they aren't painful when I wear them. Such a lovely young man! I wish my store at home had such friendly employees who were that helpful! Thank you thank you thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
