  Debbie saved my life…I had a mysterious rash appear which Mayo had me on antibiotics, and I reacted to them- I was going on 10 days with scary reactions (I now know were severe histamine allergy-type reactions) to any food, I couldn’t sleep for 10 days, and was a breastfeeding mom on top of all this with no prior experience with supplemental feeding options. I was in the Mayo emergency department too often, got an EPI pen and an allergy consult but no further help. Mayo could get me a nutritionist consult in 6 MONTHS as I was starving and a lactation consult in 6 MONTHS as my baby was going hungry and I needed urgent help to find a formula his stomach could tolerate as he too had sudden severe food allergy symptoms. A few months in, Mayo Allergy consult only had OTC med/prescription med options to take away symptoms (with heavy side effects…more meds suggested for those), suggested I sleep more, and downplayed my symptoms. Here’s where Debbie came in: I did a 30-min free call and she found a root cause issue, my extreme genetically-induced MOLD sensitivity causing severe histamine issues. She encouraged eating real food from the co-op, quality non-processed pastured organic only, no mold-prone grains. She suggested commonsense supplements (omega 3’s, a multivitamin). Shortly after, we found mold hidden in our home and she helped via email so I could find an environmental scientist, Joe Tenley, who helped our family and helped us pick one of the only 3 mold remediation companies he trusts locally (Cole at Servicemaster). I want to emphasize: all her teaching and support for my condition was FREE. She really cared about me. I am one year out from this all and my life is 80% back as I keep healing from CIRS. Mayo, on the other hand, doesn’t even acknowledge CIRS. I never would have healed from their lack of curiosity or innovation to understand my severe condition when I trusted them in my worst days of my life, they made me second guess if I was just crazy as my body slowly shut down and they told me I looked fine just anxious (yes, this is medical trauma in Mayo’s hands). I see how my kids are similarly affected, and they finally aren’t constantly sick as I’ve been working on their health. My son’s asthma is in complete remission. My daughter has no more severe emotional outbursts. My son no longer has breath holding spells. Give Debbie a try, just 30 mins FOR FREE. Debbie literally saved my life when Mayo left me just with advice for more side effect-laden antihistamines and an anxiety med I frankly did not need, I needed root cause healing. Debbie is in the business of root cause healing- medicine as it should be. Debbie, I will never have enough words to thank you. I had never tried medicine outside of my PCP until your call, it changed the life of my family fir the better in just about every aspect. Thank you. I have never done a Google review in my life, might never again, but Debbie gets my review any day. Hopefully those that take a call with Debbie don’t have to endure all this to finally look beyond standard medical care. It opened a new world of health for me.   My experience with Autoimmune Angels approach to healing has been one of continuous improvement and health. There are many things about the process I enjoy. I’ve learned that in natural healing there is an order to the process in order to have success and avoid unacceptable levels of discomfort or damage to organs. Degradation of health with time has underlying issues (root causes) which are explained and the solutions described. Blood tests are used to pin point these health issues in a clear way and are used to measure progress. Symptoms are removed by healing not by suppression with drugs which have toxic side-affects. Additionally, time with the practitioner is not rushed and my participation is valued. To get a different result one has to do something different. The old adage applies: If Nothing changes Nothing changes. This wasn’t, get a prescription take a pill. I have had to look at my participation and expectations differently. Diet had to be adjusted, supplements improved, exercise increased, changes made to my daily regiment and costs were out of pocket. Natural healing happens over months not days and by monitoring with blood tests not just symptom changes. My interest is in addressing the root cause of dysfunction in the body. In my experience many pharmaceuticals address the symptoms but not the root cause. Their list of possible side effects means they have some level of toxicity that affects the body negatively. Life is not enjoyable without health. Mainstream medicine is cheaper than this (insurance covers some of the cost) but I don’t want to be on drugs for symptom suppression the rest of my life. As my dad put it “they fix one thing and break something else”. My background is a PhD in chemistry.
