Lakes Region EMS is a community based not-for-profit ambulance service. We respond to calls for service in Chisago, Isanti and Pine Counties in Minnesota, and Polk County, Wisconsin. Lakes Region EMS was formed in 1997 as the merger of three separate ambulance services; Rush City Ambulance Service, North Branch Area Rescue Squad and Chisago Lakes Area Rescue Squad. Our primary service area encompasses 450 square miles of rural/suburban Minnesota and roughly 200 square miles of Polk County Wisconsin.
