Had to wait 25-30 minutes beyond scheduled appointment time to be seen. After that, it was fine.

Hands down, this has been my best experience with any type of healthcare provider in over a decade. Dr. Mehta was informative, friendly, and patient with all of my questions.
Before coming in for my eye exam, I didn't realize that I had any eye-related health insurance. My previous optometrist hadn't bothered to check, so I'd planned to pay out of pocket. But Dr. Mehta took the extra step to check, just in case, and she ended up saving me 100% of the exam cost and 50% of the eyewear costs.
She also helped me find a type of lens related to my needs, which primarily involved reading books/screens, while all my previous glasses from other optometrists were intended for constant use.
After telling her I was visiting from rural Virginia, she even offered recommendations for cafes and parks to check out while in Minneapolis.
The staff was equally helpful and friendly. I'm more focused on functionality than fashion, and Trevor helped me find a set of frames suited to maximizing my field of vision. He also helped me find a similar pair, which looked a lot better on me. When I picked them up, he also helped me adjust them to sit more naturally on my nose.
The glasses that the team at Optom Spot helped me find made me realize that none of my previous sets of glasses were accurately prescribed and focused for my eyes. For the first time in three years, I'm able to read like I used to-- without having to move my head in odd ways to bring things into focus.
I'm incredibly thankful to the team at Optom Spot, and strongly recommend them to everyone (especially to people, like me, who experience a lot of anxiety over interacting with healthcare professionals).

As always they are always willing to listen to my vision concerns and work with me to find a resolution no matter how trivial my concerns may be.
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What is involved in an eye exam?
An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
