Beware if you do not plan to purchase your eyeglasses at LensCrafters (which there are much cheaper options out there) they will not at the eye exam give you the pupil distance which is required to buy online. The doctor told me he doesn’t do it but they would do it for me on the sales floor and the sales person said they only measure that as a company policy if you buy from them. Honestly felt kind of cheated since I didn’t leave with a full prescription that I could use to buy elsewhere. I won’t return.

The three ladies at the Arbor Lakes store go up and beyond every time. So friendly, knowledgeable, extremely patient (I take a very long time to make a decision) and they make it fun! Not to mention Lindsey is my "go to"... we have built a relationship over the years. I've since even brought my husband in and he thinks the world of her as well (and he is even more particular than I am). Or so I think.

The optical specialist that assisted me in ordering my first pair of glasses was so knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I left feeling like positive about the whole glasses purchasing experience.

I always feel welcomed in lens crafters and they always get things done up to or past any expectations I have. I went in today to get my frames replaced, expecting to drop them off and have to wait a couple days till they were ready but the guy that was working with me had them fixed and me out the door in under 10 minutes. Best experience ever!!

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
