  Bad experence all anna did was repeat what i said to her . She said she will follow up and have another professional call me about how to work with my trauma its been 2weeks and i havent heard from anyone. I tried to show her pictures of stuff that gave me trauma and she didnt even look at it. I quietly put it back in my folder. They charge my insurance 600.00 for no help . No follow up. No asking if i need to reschedule and come back. How do these people get their license? Chatgpt listens to me better smh....

  Unless you commonly hear that you are a VERY easy-going person, and sometimes when you tell strangers about your life, their feedback is “That sounds so wonderful! Sometimes I forget that people with lives like yours exist. I’m so glad.”, and it hurts your feelings when you hear that, this is probably not a safe space for you, based on my experiences with them. This place offers couple’s therapy and individual therapy, so I had two therapists from CARE counseling, and I don’t know if they really have to do anything for that “Trauma Certification” in general, or if it just doesn’t mean anything to this company, specifically, but both of my therapists caused lasting harm that stay with me for a long time around my mostly very common traumas. These therapists come out of different CARE locations, but the one from this one blamed their choices on their supervisor, so I can’t see how this isn’t a systemic issue deeper than either of these therapists, and probably, locations. I’ve left a review on the other location, too. Most of my day-to-day troubles these past couple of months are extremely common, too, and how ill-equipped they were to cope with issues that have been real problems for some people for centuries, if not millennia already, is too much for me. If they could do nothing but cause further harm to someone with problems that are so common, and whose feelings about them that are also extremely common and well within bounds, how can they be helping anyone? Even those without trauma? That’s why I’m writing this. I’ve been living with trauma for a decade and a half, and I know most mental health professionals can’t cope with it, but I don’t understand what this organization is doing here if they can’t help with basic needs, either. To take our money for so long, then cut us loose the way they did, worse off than we were when we got there, was highly re-traumatizing for me, and I sincerely hope you can avoid it. I hope you take these words to heart and that something good comes from what I am living through now. Best of luck in your journey towards healing. It looks like we’re going to need it. <3

  So glad Care is providing services to the East side of the twin cities! Such a beautiful location with some fantastic therapists!
